Overview

At Alpha Iron Works we build and install custom architectural, ornamental and miscellaneous metal work for commercial, industrial and institutional customers. We collaborate with architects, general contractors and owners to produce quality metalwork, on time and within budget. Whatever the application, we take pride in our well-crafted work and responsive project management. We offer additional value-added services to our customers including CAD detailing, 3D modeling, design collaboration, consultation and value engineering.

Our products include steel stairs, railings, gates, ladders, canopies, industrial platforms, medical framing systems, weldments and much more.

Background

Alpha Iron shop Alpha Iron Works LLC has over 30 years of custom metal fabrication experience. Founded in 1977, Alpha Iron Works has developed an expertise in fabricating steel stairs and railings. From the very simple handrail to the monumental stair, we take pride in completing all the architectural metal jobs we do. We are family run, financially stable, focused on safety, constantly upgrading and improving our equipment and products, dedicated to our long-term employees and customers.

Our Shop

PRODUCTS:Stairs and railings are our specialty. Bending, cutting, punching, rolling and welding capabilities.
COVERAGE:We work primarily in the Rochester, NY area travel as far Buffalo, Syracuse and Ithaca. Our fabricated products have been installed nationally.
BUILDING SIZE:17,000 square feet
CRANE CAPACITY:Two @ 5 tons
MATERIAL STOCKED:Assortment of plain steel and galvanized angles, pipe, bars, tubing, etc. Next-day delivery is available for most other items, including stainless steel and aluminum.
SHIPPING METHODS:Freight on board (F.O.B.) at our shop, two boom trucks, 1 ton pickups

Detailing

Our in-house detailers provide quick turnaround on shop drawings. We provide CAD drawings and, if required, are capable of creating 3D models to verify and clarify designs. Our blueprint scanner allows us to email our submittals.
